Its probably now being cained up and down a high street in essex with some garage beats pumping out...

 

Di didn't have the first one ever made she had the only one that wasn't delivered from the factory in white, it was a metallic blue colour

According to my friend, there was
1 Moonstone Blue
2 Red,
5 Black
Factory built Series 1 Escort Turbos made.

The actress Leslie Ash and Lady Di both had Black ones.

My friend has got one of the 5 Factory built Black Turbos, and was recently considering selling it.

The Black ones were all D reg, 1986/87, and were party of the end of the production run.

I stand corrected on being all white but I know Di's was the blue one (ex-RS owner) saw the car at an RS owners day

My friend was recently told by an RS bod, who had phoned to enquire about buying his Black Turbo, that Di's Turbo, was given away last year as a prize in a competition.

He was fairly sure that she owned a Black one, but then maybe she has had more than one.

But the Black ones definately exist.
He thinks the Red ones are no longer in existence ie scrapped/written off, but doesn't know what happened to the Moonstone Blue one.

His Black is for sale if anyone interested.
