Why dont you enable vibrate ?, it vibrates for a few seconds before it starts to ring so you can answer it before mission imposible starts blasting out
When i listen to the ring tones they soung quite loud but i have missed a few calls so they cant be
Also you will be able to hear the normal ring tones better than the fancy ones (cant spell polyphonic )

Lol you must have a dodgy handset or my girlfriend must have a built in amplifier. Her T100 is far louder than my t68i even using polyphonic ringtones. She has one that is a cat meowing that makes everyong look around for a cat when we are shopping or in the pub etc.

Even when its in her handbag u can hear it downstairs. Perhaps you need some higher pitched ringtones.

On the other hand my T68i is loud when out in the open but in my pocket the speaker must get muffled as I miss loads of calls. The T68i vibrate function is one of the worst I have used.

Simon.

I'm experimenting with louder rintones and the vibrate function.
I still miss some calls though.I struggle to hear it in another room with the stereo on(medium volume).

I'm amazed you don't find the ringing loud enough - I've got one and it's fine for me.

What ringtone are you using?

Cool

I have one of these phones and it rang when I was in a shop a couple of days ago (mission impossible ringtone) and I didn't realise it was ringing for a couple of seconds, Not because it was too quiet, but because it was too loud (I though it was the piped music through the shops tannoy (and this was maplins)) It caught me off guard as I had only just put the ringtone on the phone. Can you take the phone back to the shop and compare it with another one?. It should be under guarantee. One other, thing, Are you using a leather cover on it as if you block the speaker hole it makes a big difference.

If you use a custom ring tone then just use the MMF editor to increase the volume, put it up to 150% and then transfer the tone back to your phone.

Watch out for distortion though

No mate you can only do it with additional ringtones you have added

The volume increase needs to be done before downloading to your phone

My ringtones seem loud enough, have you taken the handset back to where you bought it and compared to another handset?
