Back in October my other half ordered something we saw on an advert on the telly – they send it to you and you then pay for it if you are happy with the product.
We ordered it, tried to pay up front but could not as they do not operate in this way. It arrived and is fine. There was not any information with this item any delivery note or payment details.
This morning we received an invoice from a company (turns out to be for the item, no info on the invoice as to what the product was so we called them to establish this) for the item £14.00 plus a £ 10.00 administration charge for late payment! – We have to pay within 14 days or they will hand it over to a debt recovery company!!!
They claim that they have sent three reminders; we have not seen/received any reminders from them.
IMHO I believe this is sharp practice at best or a con at worst designed to get more money from us.
I will be contacting Watchdog about this but just wanted to warn others about the perils of doing this.

Is that the paint roller which can go up to edges? I saw that and nearly ordered it. I couldn't get through though, which is probably very lucky.
Anyway, I found the exact same product at Makro at about £5 + VAT, so bought it there instead.

Clare - No it's the thing for improving your stomach muscles, not tried it for painting anything yet, will dust it down and give it a go on the walls!
