Does anybody have any recommendations for a quality ISP for web hosting and email?
I don't want any free providers, I would rather pay for the service and expect some form of techical support and service when required without having to pay £1 a min. It needs to be fast and reliable, cost, as I said, isn't that important.
Many thanks.

Hi Cem,
Myself and many of my mobile work buddies use Netcom. (http://www.netcom.net.uk/)
I've been using them for just over two years and have never had to complain at all. Had the occasional unable to connect niggles but I think I can count those on one hand.
I use a normal dial-up account which has 25Meg of webspace plus up to 20 email addreses etc. Tech. Support is outstanding and on a normal rate rather than pound a minute. Modems and ISDN is accepted and they have support for ISDN routers too. Account is something like a tenner a month.
Highly recommneded. I think this is the third year in a row they have won the "Best Subscription ISP" from PCPro mag.
They also do business packages with more space/hosting etc. if that is your bag.
Cheers
Ian

I've used Entanet (www.enta.net) for nearly 4 years now with absolutely no problems. The last year has been an ISDN connection without a single connection problem that I can remember and I'm about to swith to ADSL in the new house (Entanet quoted 7 working days, BT quoted 3 months! And it turns out BT actually do the conversion work anyway!)
Definitely worth a look.
