I think you're right, looks like they were responsible for "Funky Town" as well, theres f-all on the web about the song though, weird????????? er or is it the same song??? confused now

Hi all,
Ok the song was used in an episode of Malcolm in the Middle when his dad taught him to roller skate...........
its pretty well known and the only bit I can remember is when it goes(womans voice btw) " well we talked about it, talked about it, talked about it, talked about itttttttt....." and some of its sung in a type of metalic effect voice.............
any ideas!

I'm ashamed to say I've just found it on my Disco Fever (40 fanboogietastic tracks for serious strutters) CD.
It is definately Lipps Inc singing Funky Town.
