i was going to buy a "barbie" camera for my little girls 5th birthday.
But thought a digital camera would be far more practical.
can anyone recomend anything?

i was looking to spend only about 20 - 30 quid, it might be a bad idea. I just thought of the cost saving on film and the ease of downloading to a pc. I had it in my head that there would be kids versions of digital cameras - maybe not the case

I'm waiting till the Oxford Argos gets some in stock. Pinky (Cerys) currently sitting down in her pink jammies keeps on pestering me.
You'll never guess the name of her favourite popstar.

Yes Pink. I haven't shown her me, I mean her mom's old Aqua album yet. She'll go crazy with Barbie Girl and thats all I'm going to hear all day long if she found out about it.

The cheap ones (£40) are good for outside with good light but indoors are pants as no flash. Even under a bright light the picture is still bland and fuzzy. This is with the Mustek GSmart Mini 2 which says it has software uprated 1280X768 res. Admittedly the outdoors films are cool.
