Just how bloody annoying are those stupid coloured squares ITV put between the adverts... they are driving me mad - take a look...once you have seen em it'll drive you mad as a ballon

Each ITV region has its own "advert joiner" bit, so it depends what region you're in as to whether you get squares, circles, gnomes, hamsters or whatever between each ad.

Haven't watched ITV for yonks, so I've no idea what my region is currently using.

My first comments on the new itv branding when I was shown it six months ago were "it looks like someones taken the old logo and applied some cheesy 3d effect"

Erm... actually now you mention it, I think most of the stuff it records is on BBC and CH4. I guess that's the other nice thing about TiVo, it doesn't matter when stuff is on or even what channel
