Any idea what helmet The Stig from Top Gear wears? You know - the all black one? Need one for trackdays, and like this one - v
Otherwise, any alternative helmet suggestions to cover me for the occasional trackday/karting etc?

I tried to get a black Arai, paid and ordered it from a shop opposite Brands Hatch, but waited over 6 months for them to be imported and still no sign, so got a boring white one instead.
Apparently "there's no call for 'em, mate" as I was told. i don't think they bothered to even order it be honest, just hoped I d get fed up with waiting or forget about it. Which i did.

otherwise known as a "Simpson Bandit"
They used to be illegal for motorcyclye use, due to the minimal nature of the visor and the supposedly "restricted" view, but the relaxed that law about 10 years ago...
One of my mates had a white one with a black visor, and another one of my mates had a green one painted up to look like a Predator head - this was when the film was new of course - it looked amazing

Thanks guys
Had a quick look for it on a couple of sites - seems to be about the £300 mark which is a bit too steep for the odd trackday unfortunately. Perhaps I'll paint my old cycle helmet and add some papier mache instead

Also take a look at the Roof Boxer. Good in black with an iridium (cough) visor. I've got one as it a flip up front one that makes it a lot easier as I wear specs.

Could be the Craft RX5 or the latest version, the RX7.
Tried it on at the NEC bike show, was pretty impressed with the fit and quality.
You should be able to pick up a plain coloured one for around 170.

Had an RX9 but it was noisy over 90mph on a bike, even with ear plugs. And air leaks in all around the visor and makes your eyes water. A case of form over function.
