Getting a bit bored of being late for work after hacking my face of with a Mach3

I had an electrc beast a while back, but it tended to pull most of the hair off and not be a very clean shave.

Whats this new Bond beast like?

Ta,

I have had all sorts of electric razors over the years.
I've come to the conclussion that you get the best & closest shave from Braun foil razors.
I have the fancy one that cleans itself and it's really good.

I've been using a Philishave Coolskin for a few months now - best shaves I've ever had - so I'd guess the "Bond" one would be pretty good.

Philips Coolshave worked well for me - until I took it in the hold of a plane stopped working after that.

Tempted to get another one tho.

Thumbs up

Thanks all,

So its the Braun or Phillips then, thought they would be near the top. Right, off to Boots for a test drive!

I use the Braun Model that cleans itself. It works well and feels like a new shaver after it has cleaned itself

Do you lot feel that your electric shavers shave closer/better than a wet shave? Ive tried a few (albeit cheaper models) and they seem to agitate my skin and not be that close at all.

Cant push myslef to buy a £100+ in case its crap and Ive then blown 100 notes. Admittedly if it worked it would pay for itself after a year or so as no need to buy razor blades. How much are those Nivea cartridges and how long do they last?

Simon.

Never found a dry shaver as a good as a wet shave, but then you can't wet shave in bed

I bought the cheapest three head Philishave I could, and found this works as well as anything else. Why pay more?

Found myself in the same position many years ago and decided to have some growth on the chin as I was getting too fecking lazy to shave all the time (no time in the mornings anyway)...still have the whiskers.

Bu55er all that messing around with razors in the morning - just "wash and go" !

Plus...the missus loves it for those "tickle" moments...deffo better than a clean shaved chin !

Phillips were doing a money back trial with the CoolShave - try it for a few weeks, if you didn't like, take it back for a refund.

I had the same trouble. Never have time to shave in the morning so end up with stubble all week. Bought one of those phillips three head things and found it useless. it takes ages to get rid of most of the beard. have to keep going over the same bits over and over agin, and it never really feels like a clean shave. after a couple of weeks i abandoned it cos it took too long. now back to twice weekly wet shaves.
