Hi all, what are the best deals available on an X-Box at the mo? Preferably with Colin McCrae rally thrown in too.
Also what is the best steering wheel and pedal set-up to get for it? I'm after plenty of feedback from the wheel.
Are there any other bits and bobs I should get?
I have no knowledge whatsoever on them except that I know I want one, mainly for rally driving games but I suspect I'll get into a few shooting things too
Cheers
Sal

Sal,
You might want to have a look here (http://www.thedvdforums.com), it's another forum site, I think you have to register to be able to post. There's lots of info on there, and the bargain forum often has best prices for xxx..
If no good try Game (used to be Electronics Boutique) they will price match other stores and sometimes internet offers. Xbox sales are struggling still, so there "may" be another price drop in the run up to christmas.
Good luck, let us know what sort of bargain you get.

Wouldnt be long until me or Dunk got in on this !!!
Games you need are:
Colin Mcrae 3
Rallisport Challenge
PGR
Tony Hawks 4
Transworld Snowboarding
Halo
If you have a surround amp then the advanced scart cable and fibre optic for 5.1 sound (best heard with halo !!) is essential.
Next you should think about one of these !!!

The Lotus wheel is the best xbox wheel imho. the ferrari one is very cheap and nasty in comparison but is the same price
None of the wheels offer force feedback but do have rumble.
I've got the Lotus one and its great for PGR but only good with Rallisport - I tend to use the controller for that. Not got CMR3 yet so don't know how it fears with that..........

'Total Immersion Racing' is very good with ace engine noises (especially on the Audi R8's!)
'Wreckless-The Yakuza Missions' is a huge pile of steaming ****e, stay away!
Hope this helps

MotoGP is a great game.
Don't know if you've got broadband, but something to watch for is he X-Box live service.
My mates a beta tester and I went round last night to have a go. £50 will get you MotoGP, Whacked (although this looked a bit pants)a voice communicator and a 12 month subscription to the service.
It's fantastic fun, ragging round Donnington with people all over the place and a good bit of banter's a top laugh.
