MAD and Peanuts
#1
This one goes out to the collectors indahouse.
My mad auntie has a large collection of Peanuts books, Giles books and MAD comics, and wants to flog them. There is an antique dealer in Basingstoke who deals with this sort of thing, but he's too shifty. I've looked on auction websites, but they only tell me what the seller wants for them, not what they're actually worth.
Has anyone got any ideas where to look next?
Help will be rewarded with a lick of my cappucino froth.

Scooby Regular
Did you watch Life Laundry on BBC2 last nite?...They found some old MAD magazines in a box, the bloke reckoned some were worth £300 each at collectors fairs and on the Internet.
It's wise not to get shafted.......You need to find someone who will give you unbiased advice. Not always easy!
p.s I'd never heard of MAD magazine before last nite!!

I know, Dr Hu!!! My mad auntie was thinking about flogging them for ages anyway, but after the prog last night it was all I could do to keep her from booking a holiday in the Bahamas.
