Yeah why not?
I have worked in an office that was built on a graveyard (not used anymore obviously), there was a trap door into the stinky crypt and the door opened onto a gravestone.
Never gave it a moments thought to be honest!

NO!!
Nearly lost the sale of my last house because someone (wrongly) told the buyer that it was built on an old cemetry - people can be VERY funny.
PLUS, the market is going to crash!!
Wouldnt spend good money on property at the moment!!
Basically it would be a GRAVE mistake, sorry, couldnt resist!! Also, DIG DEEP into the paperwork - might be some funny covenents BURIED in it!!

Cemetries tend to attract druggies and other weirdos. I used live near one as a kid and my back garden backed onto one and it would be littered with used needles, empty cans and jonnies(used).
Thank fukc we moved when I was 14.
Edited again 'cos I can't type through a large
helping of Stella.

To be fair, I lived next Harehills Cemetery which is in one of, if not THE worst areas in Britain for crime, drugs, etc!
The dead there were a lower class of corpse.
