Ideas for Gifts for my Mum and Dad

I won't bore you with the details as to why, but for Christmas I want to get my mum and dad something really special, as a thank you mainly.
I will have about £300 to spend and was thinking of maybe a long weekend away in Paris or Ireland, or somewhere similar. (Not Amsterdam they are in their fifties
and not on a long coach trip) Can you get a mini cruise for this much ?
However any suggestions are appreciated. Especially with where to get nice holidays.
