Yay! Let's just hope he doesn't get acted off the screen by Ron Weasley!

Oh, and Joanne, just in case you're reading this......pull yer finger out and publish the next book, for gawd's sake!

LOL! I was wondering if I'd get flamed for being a big kid or if people would admit they were going/excited!!

Iain
PS
You should have seen how excited I was when the Goblet Of Fire landed at my door!!

Glad I'm not the only big kid here. It was all Mum's fault - she lent me the books early last year.

You want to go during the day when there are no kids around to spoil the film

Correct Tony. That's why we are going to the late eveninig showing. I'll probably fall asleep though. It seems like it's been a long week - maybe because I'm on holiday next week

Isn't Tony being ironic?? ie by going during the day it won't be full of 'kiddish-adults', mainly kids??? That's they way I understood it.

Have fun - guess I aint going now

Booked tickets online, then system crashed. Missus came home from work in a bad mood (as usual - she's a teacher)and we had a huge argument about home insurance

Now she doesnt want to go, so i suppose it was fate the system fell over

Will go next week

Going tomorrow night, can't wait

Wonder what they're gonna do about the 3rd one now the geezer playing Dumbledore has popped his clogs halfway through filming

Paul

PS I second the call for Miss Rowling to get the finger out and give us the 5th book! Had it on order in Waterstones for about a year

am a huge harry fan having read all the books.

have to say the first film was pants and a real let down.

just got back formt he second film, fans of the book will not be dissapointed, much much better than the first film, and much less kidified. The darkness that grows through successive books is well and truly growing in the films too.

Rusty

Where abouts is that in Ambleside..ignore me, just remembered where it is, next to the cinema and above/next to the shopping arcade across from the mountain bike shop.

Sounds cool

Adam - also a huge fan here (cant wait for number 3 TBH - the best book IMHO).

I dont realy think the first film was crap though, it was very true to book 1. I just think book 1 was not so good, though it was a good start to the whole story. i.e. got you in gently.

roll on film 3 though

Unhappy

I've seen so much hype about these films/books that I got the first book from my kid's room and read it a couple of weeks ago. I've never read such an utter load of transparent, padded out pap in my life.........
Sorry to all those who love it, I don't think I'll bother!

there's no sitting on the fence with you then.

I know what you mean though sometimes (however remember it is a KIDS film), they over-hipe films, then you expect so much more & are often dissapointed.

Ok - anyone else seen and loved it?

Whole family went last night without tell me ...ok, so I'm 100 miles away from them, but that's just a quick jaunt in the Scoob! Now trying to convince the husband to go, and that's not an easy task

Third book was great - fourth was amazing...can't wait for #5

Saw it last night, excellent, just excellent. Bit scary for little kids in places, but an improvement on the first one. The kids have learnt how to act...

I was pleasantly surprised by the first one. Haven't read the books and dont intend to....why bother when they are making films now
