Does anyone know if you can specify the output RF frequency of a sky digibox ?? I have been recommended to do this - but not sure if you can or how to do it .....

Yes you can
There's a "hidden" setup menu where you specify it. Cant remember the code off my head - There was a thread here not so long go where several of us psuted it.
I'll do a google and be back....
