Well another looooong weekend and the Southport Dance Weekender no. 31 is over.
Uppers:
Miguel Migs (Naked Music) was excellent
Louie Vega and Bah Samba live
Roy Ayers on the vibes
Sunshine Anderson
Norman Jay, awesome as ever.
The Malboro Motel marquee was very cool.
Downers:
On site shop wanted 42 quid for a crate of Bud
So many people have no manners and dont apologise for spilling 1/2 pint of Guinness down you
The Starlight Crew - if you shout REWWIINNNDDD over one more record within 5 seconds of it starting i am going to shove one of those nice EAW speaker cabinets where the sun dont shine.
Other than that, a wicked time was had by all of us. Roll on Southport 32 next April...
