Notice that it isn't a DV *tape* camera - it records to memory. Scroll down a bit and you'll see that it'll record a massive three minutes with it's standard memory, at a frame rate which'll look like a webcam. How quick are your laps?

I have a couple of CF cards, so the internal memory is not really an issue.

Why am i trying to justify this to myself!

Thumbs up

I wanted to know if anyone had bought one, it looks a bargain for under a ton! Just the thing for an outing where things could get damaged (xmas parties etc).

The still pic desn't look bad either. I saw the 3 minute thing as well but a 512 mb CF would solve that issue.

So small as well.

I saw this too - cant find anything about the frame rate - but as already said the memory isnt a problem as I have 2 x 256mb CF cards for my camera.

Somebody buy it and tell us what it's like please !

If it's low quality then it'll be easy to send over the web, yes?
