Peter Kay's very funny IMO.
I saw him live a couple of years ago and I almost p!ssed myself laughing. I had jaw and headache from laughing so much.
Each to their own with comedy and humour I suppose.
Les Dennis did a Mavis impression, it was the other bloke (Dustin Gee? Dead) who did Vera. Deeply unfunny, though

Jim Davidson....has gone very political
Jethro on day time tv ?....just remember that his show is largely adult and therefore daytime chat show type performance will be aimed differently

I went to see Russ Abbot at the Alhambra in Bradford, yeah, I was sick at the interval...... ah memories
Gotta agree about Enfield though, unfortunately If he was to come round my house and make a cup of tea, then put put the tea soaked spoon in the sugar bowl leaving funny coloured lumps of sugar, I'd say OIH, Enfield,NO! I admire the comic talent you once had but lumpy sugar is no good to anyone, now naf off and take your chums wiv ya!

Heres a strange one.
Ricky Gervais in The Office is hilarious, and the writing of that program is superb, but in real life and on his TV interview show he is the biggest ***** god ever put breath into!!
What ever happend to Chevy Chase??, now he was funny!!

Ricky Gervais- dont expect to see him around for ever. he is a ***** in real life as shown by his other TV show- however, his mates writting skills and choice of making him play a ***** in The Office is comedy genius.

Cannon & Ball (who?) - tho I don't know if they were ever funny!
A few years back my girlfriend & I got a fly/drive holiday to the States. Trundle along to the welcome meeting where they try to flog you overpriced 'deals' and C&B were there - apparently brought in specially to 'entertain' us and make us happy & susceptible to the sales pitch.
I sloped off to the bar instead - much more entertaining IMHO!

Ken Dodd is absolutely aweful, Les Dennis should die as he is ******** Holden which nobody on earth can explain!!!
Johnny Vaugn has alway been a dick, now he is just a dick on at night as opposed to morning when everyone was half asleep anyway!

Totally agree Spike Milligan. Deeply unfunny.
Frankie Howerd (though also dead).
Stan Boardman.
Norman Wisdom.
The ***** who operates that stupid duck Orville.
Tom O'Connor.
I'm sure there are more...

Those old boys relied too heavily on canned laughter. Take that away and the material just wasn't funny.
I remember Frankie Howerd was booked to do a corporate entertaiment slot at a conference for fairly young folk about 12 years ago.
His "Ooo Err Missus" routine fell flat....bloody embarrasing actually. reminds me of Ricky Gervais "entertaining" in The Office.
