I bought a
Toggi jacket which has a separate fleece which can be zipped inside it or worn separately. Very warm, and not overly expensive, either. Tested it in Scotland last Hogmanay - it was minus 22 degrees, and I was warm as toast whilst toboganning.

The North Face.
Failing that, those parkas you used to get at school with the grey fake fur - I never remembered getting cold in one of those puppies

Screwfix Direct, (yes, really!!!) do a fleece/waterproof outer that's only about £50 the pair, good looking, excellent build, and very warm.
