Is it just me or has radio one actually been good this week from live performances by Hundred Reasons and Queens of the stone age to slippmatt (who was absolutley bangin') and the streets they have had a comprehensive line up of quality live performances from a variety of musical styles. If it was like this all the time and they sacked sara ***** I think it would justify the licence fee on its own 'cos the TV certainly doesn't.

It can be ok.

The only problem with R1 is that if you listen to it for more than 2 hours you hear the same fooking songs over and over again.

if you think thats bad hearing the same song every 2 hours then you gotta try listening to the dreadfull Rock FM local radio in lancashire......Radio 1 is bliss compared

must admit that im not a fan of Sara *** and Chris Moyles can be very annoying at times

That's just the music, it doesn't apply to the ads. And they just play the same music every day in a different order.

R1 has it's drawbacks - Sara *** is the main one - but it's still the best for new music. I can't listen to any station with adverts... But why are they sacking Lamaq?
