Does anyone out there know what really happened?
News tells us that only one hostage shot, all the rest killed by gas.
If this is true, what was all the gunfire when they went in then?

The terrorists had started to kill the hostages, the russians gassed them then killed them which may seem a bit harsh except that the terrorists had explosives strapped to themselves and in a situation like this its better to eliminate ALL the treats than leave any alive.....
These terrorists decided to do this act, the outcome IMHO was a fair trade, take the risk, pay the price, now everyone is just wondering what the reprisals will be, id give it a month before the russians start doing some carpet bombing me thinks.....
