Question
Getting a British Blue kitten tomorrow, which when fully grown will look something like this:



It is male and will have a pedigree name, but I'd like some (serious) help in naming him. Obviously, anything to do with "blue" would be a help, but not the group "Blue".....

Someone has already called their BB cat "Misty" here, so that's not an option, and anyway, sounds too girlie.....

Help please?

Baby Blue?! How bout Scooby Dooby Blue?! Sorry, very un original. I'm bored! Nice looking cat by the way. I had a big fat ginger and white thing called Psycho. Had to give him to my parents in the end, couldn't afford to keep feeding the bloater!!!

Thanks for the ideas, I think it needs a really manly name, coz this cat is going to be BIG.

Like the idea of Speigle, but would be a bit silly calling him on the back doorstep!

Thanks also for the dogs names, this is a cat OK?

You can name your cat anything... then change it to something that suits it's character once you know what it's like.

This is 'Stupit' ... (originally named 'Motown' but he's a bit dim).

The wife thinks you should call it Jimmy Floyd Hasselbiank (He's a Blue). Personally I think you should call it Teddy Sherringham or Jurgen Klinsmann.
