Watch for it on the news, but i've just experienced a mini earth quake. Currently in Salford, nr Manchester. My girlfriend phoned saying she'd felt it and she was 3 miles away!!

It woke me up this morning (dont live in droylesden though but about 2 miles away) but no one else in the house felt it, weird eh!

We had one in Brittainy about two weeks ago: 9 in the morning, with an after shock at 12 ! It was not reported in England, but if you check it out. it follows a direct line; I reckon we are up for a big flucker soon.

stratboylim, where in Brittainy are you, the scoob and me pop over there 2-3 times a year to visit the flat we have in the Gulf of morbhian would be good to meet a galic scoob..

Didn't feel anything here in Leeds, this morning or at lunchtime.... though before dinner my stomach was making rumbling sounds !?!
Had a fairly big tremor whilst on holiday in Zante in September...now that was a weird feeling... the whole hotel shook like a bu99er !!
We don't get earthquakes in Blighty do we !?!!

John - we actually have about 10 tremors a month, but they dont really get noticed/reported.
Mellow and I felt the tremor at 12:40 today - was sat in a chippy in near Littleborough, and the chairs moved. I thought it was a lorry/the waiter nudging my chair, Mellow thought I kicked his chair.

I work on the 13th floor of a tower block in Manchester. Luckily I was off this morning.. I phoned up work and they were all sh1tting themselves. Loads of folk were running out of the building too.

Did anyone feel the 2 at around 4.40 this morning then?!
Felt both of them (so did the dog as she woofed lol!)
And we only get 3 a year
