At 8 months old, if I was buying these items 2nd-hand, I'd be looking at no more than 60-70% of current cheapest retail price (not RRP Dixons tag prices either). The more expensive the kit, the bigger the loss as there is always a choice to buy something new.

This stuff depreciates as much as our cars!

Comet have been selling the TV for £999 recently, I paid £1500 for it 18 months ago! Sorry, I didn't pay for it, got it on buy now pay 18months time 0% thing, payment of £1500 is due 1st November
