Recently mentioned on the news "The M25 between Watford and Surrey is the most congested section of road in the UK".
So that will be the section with the cariable speed limits then!

they brought out the speed restrictions in order to move traffic along faster and to relieve congestion i believe. Good theory, bad in practice. When ive been through there every1 floors it between the cameras then backs off just before the next one is in range.
If peops are going to look at their speedos and try to keep exactly to the given restriction bang go the brake lights and the dreaded domino effect takes place.

Seem to remember that they reckoned that the M4 moved quicker in the section with the bus lane than it did before the bus lane was added. What they don't tell you is that the traffic approaching the bus lane moves at half the speed it used to
