Just turned this complete joke of a programme off, are the British public that laughably ignorant that they could really vote Big Brother best factual programme ahead of Blue Planet??

Really?!!!!!

The Blue Planet is one of the best series I have ever seen and a subject very close to my heart (the killer whale/grey whale scene will never be forgotten).

I flicked over after watching "Grand Designs" (nice house), saw the award for "Best Factual TV", shouted at the telly and came and had a surf instead.

Big Brother a better factual program than Blue Planet ? WTF are these people on ?

This show cannot surprise me any longer. Didn't the British public apparently vote recently that the funniest moment EVER on British TV was the final scene in "Blackadder goes Forth", where they go over the top to certain death, and the picture fades slowly to the quiet Somme as it is now?
I'm sure I read that somewhere.

True. The fact that Barrymore won any awards ever still continues to amaze me.

STILL amazed that a programme about a fat whale with an excruciatingly noisy mating call could beat blue planet!
