Richard Wests probably one of the all time greats, manages to keep hold of his underground routes. Heard him play at a couple of private parties - now that's something to be heard...
Ray Keith, Ellis Dee and Nicky BM were all very good in their day - used to make my weekends anyway.
Tiesto's probably my current fav, was at Cream/Amnesia opening night for his 6hr set. Thought I was getting a little old for all this all night clubbin lark until this, how wrong was I

For me Carl *** is one of the best from a 'technical' perspective, but Oakey or Sasha does it for me. If this question had been asked a few years ago (more than I care to remember) then I would have to say that I was the best DJ... certainly the best in my bedroom.

I don't know - I was lucky enough to be in Manchester (Hacienda, Bugged Out) in the mid-90's. Sasha and Digweed still do it for me. CD in the car at the momeent is the 1st Renaissance CD

Some of the best dance music is on these. You can get some of it on gnutella if you want to try before you buy.

Stacey Pullen
Carl Craig
Derrick May
All of the U.R. boys.
Not forgetting Scotland's Stuart and Orde, oh and of course Harri and Domenic from the Sub.
Ps Try www.groovetech.com for DJ archives. Probably the best collection online bar none

Has to be me of course
Well, failing that I would say for mixing skills it has to be the one they call the Mickey 'Fabulous' Finn.
For scratching ability, albeit somewhat repetitive, I'd say DJ Hype.
And finally of the ladies, has to be DJ Rap. Mmmmmmmm
Grooverider is a quality DJ, but I think that his partner in crime Fabio is better. I've heard a lot of live sets by Grooverider and he can be a bit lapse, no nasty beat clashes, but just not the precision of Fabio.

The Healy / Whitehead Fantazia House Collection CD 3 mid 90s. Fab.
I got Up Yer Ronson : The Soundtrack Vol 1 mixed by Graeme Park & Healy. Did a Vol 2 ever come out? The Park CD is superb IMO.

Carl *** gets the crowd going like no other I've seen.
Norman Jay does it for me, as does Jason Moore - his CD in the JDJ Triptonite collection is simply outstanding

Joey Negro - no DJ I have ever seen works a crowd like he does, seen him many times and I have some amazing memories to some of his sets!!
Joey Negro - aka Dave Lee, aka Jakatta, aka Akabu, aka about 300 other aliases!!!
Old favourites are DJ Ratty, DJ SY, and HYPE

At the moment.....
Erick Morillo - Tore up Pacha ibiza on sep 11 this year, and did the same in pacha london a couple weeks ago.
Kenny Carpenter - If you aint heard him, get ya ***** down to Bed in Sheff on Nov 2nd. Quality.
Steve Lawler - His Space sets are always wicked.
Oakie - Although not tunring up for his own labels closing party this year at pacha was a little rude imho.
Any of the Hed Kandi DJs - Mark doyle, matt colins always make everyone smile at Rouge or in the backroom at Eden this year.
Roger Sanchezs all night sets at El divino(last year) and pacha are superb, he puts a lot of effort in and it shows.
Seb Fontaine always impresses too.
I'll stop now, could go on for ages!
