Well and truly brassed off!!! Been working on 2 jobs for a while now, with the help of 2 juniors. Friday evening we have 2 full days work left for both before job is complete. I suggested we work the weekend so it was less pressure on monday. Junior " no i have things planned" Well that stuffed me cause i was not going to do his job so i could do mine.
So i have now been in work approx 4 1/2 hours and working like hell. I have just been upstairs to see how junior is getting on, and the little **** is at college, which he has not told me about. He has also done the same to a colleague!
I will now have to work till 6 tonight, go home do my father in laws VAT, which will be late, then come in at 4 in the morning again.
Some people just do not give a **** about their work!! If they dont like it or dont care they should **** off.

Aren't employment laws great? Money says that there's bugger all you can do to get rid of him/her, despite there being no doubt someone who's willing to put in the effort somewhere...
Sounds like you need beer.
Or an ICE install

Never heard of multi tasking........at the moment just data processing ie excel, which is what juniors should do, not someone with a charge out rate of £80 an hour!
The little **** does not like me, goes out with senior partners daughter
Started on me at last christmas do, did not last long, good job my wife was there cause no one could stop me except her
Dont worry when i become a partner there will be a few receiving their P45 at the 1st opportunity

nahh no need, its **** scared of me now. lets just say there was a momentary touch a brilliance from the old karate skills. His mate who also goes out with the bosses other daughter was also coming for me, until he saw what i did, and my wife grabbed hold of me.
Lets just say he wont try kicking me again, especially when i have had well in excess of 10 pints of guinness and my fair share of red wine. Wife remembered it all as she could not drink, she was the taxi home and was also expecting.
had to pay for damage to bar to avoid police coming! barman said, that little **** has been winding you up all day, he deserved that.
wife did not say the same though

p20spd- reading your first post it sounds like you have bitten of more than you can chew.
Your juniors deserve time off and just because YOU over booked a job doesn’t mean people that work for you have to give there weekends up too!
Try giving them a but of support rather than blaming them for everything that goes wrong!
You will get a lot more out of them
p.s. don't kick them

Johnny, i was informed by these 2 people that the respective jobs were complete on thursday. When i asked to review them on friday, told they had not been started!!!
When i asked why, one said they had been doing somthing else for someone else!
They knew they had a deadline, and infact have had the jobs 2 weeks! I understand the mechanics of motivation, etc, cause i have been succesfully controlling these for the last 3 years.
Just when one of them turns round and says "not my problem" it pisses you off!
These are single lads that, apparently, want to get on in life and eventually become a qualified accountant. Not with this attitude i am afraid.
The hitting bit at a christmas do came about over something else. One of them asked for an "honest" answer to what i thought of him. Started off with a tailored answer, in an attempt at diplomacy, he said i was not telling the truth, so i did. He did not like the answer so he kicked me!
