Is it me or is the Pentagon starting to look worried?

The latest news on Iraq. The good Ole US of A is threatening to veto any move by the UN to re-insert the weapons inspectors into Iraq.
Two weeks ago the fact that Saddam would not allow the inspectors back in was the cowboys and the oilmens main reason to start a war.
Now Saddam has agreed to let them in, and Dubya is crying foul, what gives?
Are the Pentagon now sh1tting themselves because the first weapons that the inspectors are going to find (very conveniently, of course), are all the missiles that the aforementioned Cowboys & Oilmen gave to Iraq during the eighties, when Dubya's daddy and the Actor were in charge?

New US Doctrine. Basically, it is to attack first, sorry, pre-emptive strikes for the purpose of self defence. WTF ?
Sorry, but that sounds a little like "We will invade and kill in any country that we *might* have a problem with later on".
USA showed their true colours today by basically saying that they will be going into Iraq, with or without UN support, in fact, without any other countries support.
The whole WMD thing was a ruse to get public support.
I'm not anti-war, and I agree something does need doing about soverign states with WMDs, but if they try on this new doctrine, I believe it will be catastrophic for world peace.
Sad times ahead.
Hey, Nimbus, nice glider
