Camping holiday advice
#1
Decided to take the trailer tent and camp in Norfolk Broads area..
Anyone recommend a campsite? preferably away from main roads and not too busy...
Also anyone know places to visit and things to do in the area?
Kiddy related would be best..
cheers for any help

Here's a few ideas for do's and don'ts........
DO
Visit Norwich, nicest city to walk/shop around, clean and plenty to do.
Travel to Southwold/Walberswick. Send the kids to do crabbing while you drink the local tipple, Adnams. Also down that way is Dunwich.
Get a boat out on the Broads for the day and take a picnic.
Shire horse centre, Sheringham area, supposed to be excellent.
If you like Fish & Chips go to Dolphin House (I think) in Lowestoft. Best F&C I've ever had and I know, Dad ran one for 20+ years!!
There's lots to do up around the North Norfolk coas. Cromer, Holt Hall, Sheringham etc, etc.
DON'T
Go anywhere near Gt Yarmouth. Kids might love it but you'll feel suicidal after visiting.
Wroxham is VERY tourist orientated so isn't the best representative of the Broads.
There isn't too much bad about the area. We try to avoid the busy tourist hotspots as we much prefer the chilled out countryside way of life.
