been offered one of these by a mate and wondered if anyone had any experience of them. ie false alarms and if they do a good job??

I've had one for about a year now, bought it second hand from a mate for £100. Works OK with Gatso although very little reaction time (100m before camera if your lucky). Not too concerned about Gatso as I keep to the speed limit till I see the national speed limit sign then it's down into second and away Loads of false alarms around out of town shopping centres and the occasional rural house. Have yet to get a laser to set it off even when I can see the vans on the bridges (maybe that's why it was £100 )

My advice is don't do it. Save your £250/300 and buy something else like a digi camera so you can post pics in the members gallery.
