I bought a Lecson DVD-900 from Debenhams for £180 about 18 months ago, at the time it had excellent reviews, they are now selling it for £90.
Picture and sound are superb, and it plays DTS.
I think it can be region enabled with a code via the remote.
Cheers

Im not big into these things, but a friend bought an Alba one from Argos for £70... Too dear I thought for an Alba!!, but it plays all regions easily, all cd formats ( Mp3 VCD etc ) and actually looks quite good. Very slimline and compact. For £70 what do you want??? If it breaks after a year, just buy another one. I never thought Id say anything good about an Alba!! I might even buy one myself

I would assume that the 200+ digital cameras are a stock purchase through a company, which are then going to be sold on to customers for a mark-up. Whereas the DVD is almost certainly a private purchase.

Obvious, really.

NOPE!!!
I have a DVD player, considerably more than £100 - DVD players are prizes at our sales conference and the cameras are potentially for customers.
