I was made redundant 3 months ago and at the time didn't think much of it. Previously, I had been a contractor for 12 years with no large breaks between contracts (only 12 weeks in 12 years) so its been a bit of a culture shock for me.

I also can't help but notice the increasing number of Scoobynet members that find themselves in the same position, either redundant or between contracts for an extended period of time.

The economy has been worse in the past so does this mean the bubble is about to burst BIG time.

But if we go to war along with the US I think it will hit hard were prices and jobs are concerned.
