I like my Timberland pro ones but the are a bit heavy till you get used to them! They are comfortable though which is important. Just take it easy breaking them in....just a few hrs at a time.

Another vote here for the Timberland Pro's. They seem pretty hard wearing (although I had to stick part of the sole back on with a glue gun). Not heavy when you get used to them and anyway it's good leg exercise! Would be better if Goretex lined but hey! nothing's perfect.

Dickies
catagorically the most comfortable boot I have worn in the last seven years bar none, sole is starting to wear out now tho after about 8 months soon time for some new ones.
Thinsulate lined, first time last winter I didn't get cold feet, maybe the mild winter we had but I still think it was the boots.

Wolverines, steel toe capped, but still (2 1/2 years old now) the most comfortable boots ever, even Cats, Docs

Where I worked we had a chance to try some Cat's, fortunately I managed to grab some They are very, very good.
They ended up being too costly for the tight fisted company and they used Truckers (quite appropriate for a Transport and Distribution firm ) - which aren't that bad - quite comfortable in ankle boot form

Not a great fan of DMs. Found they buggered up my feet. Currently using Dickies trainer style steels. But i do have to drive in them so that swayed my decision.
