If you do, watch out for a dark green classic shape Impreza, its the old bill in disguise!!

I saw them this morning in an unmarked Impreza, they had pulled over a new shape Skyline, poor skyline driver probably thought the Scooby wanted some so booted it......and got some points for his trouble!

I think its unfair that the old bill get unmarked cars, the government should introduce a fair play to motorway speeder act, 2002! (iam joking)

SO you have been warned, dont try and race this one, it will end in tears!. Its no different to a normal looking dark green Scooby but it has little blue flashy lights that appear from nowhere!

Where abouts on the M3 ? it crosses several borders but I live around J4A so could affect me,!!

I live in the same place as Audiman and do use the M3 for testing purposes. Any further info would help.

AudiMan - I think both Surrey and Hampshire police have them - so you'll be stuffed either way!

I've also seen a red unmarked Scooby patrolling around the Hook area on a Wednesday evening when all the bikers get together. Luckily though I've had the bike parked up everytime this car has been cruising around the area.

Saw a new shape dark blue WRX this morning near stockwell, that just started cutting through traffic with his flashy lights!

Hants police definitely have 1 Red and 1 DBM Scoob.

I have seen both in Stockbridge, and DBM again near Basingstoke. Both looked completely standard, apart from 'Police' sign in rear window.

According to the attendant in our local Shell garage, the red Impreza was written off a few months ago, but they may have a new one by now. Will keep an eye out for the green one though...

I get on at J4, Camberley and I saw the Scoob with the pulled over Skyline about 1 mile before the M25 Junction.

I shall not be racing that one!, they used to have a black VR6, they got me for 3 points in about 2 years ago, Iam sure its the Scooby that replaced it as that was a P reg.

Had smart blue flashing lights that looked like they were built into the tailgate either side of the SUBARU sign.

I don't know about the one being written off, but I have a good source that claims that one of the Police ones 'melted it's engine' chasing a big bike & had to be rebuilt.

Both are still about I see them every once in a while as I spend a fair amount of my time travelling up and down the M3 to customers.

The first time I saw the green one he was sat on my tail at 90mph at 8am! Luckily I pulled over and did not boot it that morning they came past, pulled level grinned and told me to slow down. They then proceeded to nail it off up the motorway. Must have been lucky!!!

Surrey police have a red turbo, a green one, and 2 blue ones.

They also have a silver Evo 7.

And very scarily they have a current model 911 Turbo!!!!!!
This is driven by one bloke who wears casuals.

Be aware!. Most of them are in & around guildford!

I have heard this from the horses mouth so to speak. (friendly officer)

I use the M3 every now and again in a classic dgm - but I'm not the police in disguise! Thanks for the tip off!
(hopefully they don't have scooby doo fog lamp covers or scoobynet sticker, that would be worrying!)

I've seen the red one (which apparently patrols the M3) as far out as Hayling Island! They'd stopped a Corrado VR6, I remember as it had the number plate 'X6', which is now on a Mk IV Golf.
