To settle a little dispute.......
What is the deal here?
If I travel from Home (say Northampton) and have to visit a company in Gatwick, but my office is based in Hemel Hempstead (which forms part of my normal daily commute)
What mileage should I claim? 90ish or 45ish??
And what about if I go to Nottingham, do I claim from home or work?
If someone can send me a link to this info I would appreciate it.

Sorry that it is 98 pages long
From memory (but not definitive) if you are office based (which it sounds like you are), you can only claim the lesser of home to "company" or office to "company". How you are supposed to know which is the lesser without driving both i don't know
Also, have a general browse around http://www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/.
