I have heard people mention on here that a cheap way of borrowing money is from an EGG credit card.
Do people mean get the card then withdraw cash against it until you have the amount you need, then repay the card as normal ?

I think the idea is that you get the card, and then you use it to pay for whatever it was you wanted to borrow the money for.

I think what people mean is use Egg's offer of 0% interest on balance transfers for the first six months to your advantage...

E.g. Use "credit card A" and write yourself a credit card cheque for however much you want, then transfer this to Egg and don't pay any interest on the "loan" Well, for 6 months anyway...

Used egg rather than Marbles, Egg gave me a £4k limit, Marbles only £1k .... insulting gits
