We've been watching this since early last year. Taped last night's one (was busy watching 'Classmates' ). It's a superb series, although a couple of the more recent ones have been a bit too contrived.

In that case you all might like Perfect Match on Channel 4, its not the marked transformation of the people involved but it is amusing watching the selection process in action.

I've seen both series but this series has definitely had more cases , that at first sight would appear to be' beyond help overhauls . It just shows what can be done with a bit of confidence building and pointing in the right direction
It's Compulsive viewing but there are rumours that there is not going to be a 3rd series

I saw PM too. Was it me or did those parents seem racist?
IMHO the girl should have just left home, lived her own life and get out of the way of nosey parents. You can still show respect to parents even if you don't live with them

Not only racist, but classist.
"We want a lawyer or a doctor, with parents who are the same class as us - own their own business or similar".
"What about if he was a doctor but his parents owned a corner shop?".
"Oh, no, we don't want to associate with people like that".
FFS. If they'd been caucasians and had sent that, they'd be on their way to jail - their feet wouldn't have touched the floor.

Yep that was a **** take. Can't believe they even had the audacity to be like that on national tv especially after how many failed attempts at setting her up themselves.
