Would this be the wiring regs (16th edition)?
If so, I wouldn't mind seeing it again...
The IEE seem to want to charge people for it (even members )

to buy the book is about £47
the CD-Rom is £350.
i think this is whether you are a member or not.
the only reason i want the cd is it will be easier to search, the book is a knightmare to work with.

letters after one's name
(If you're interested in that sort of thing)
Next year I'll have more letters than name...
My company pays for the membership, so I'd rather be in the club than not.

Yes it is now known as BS7671:2001 to indicate that it was amended in 2001 and came into force in January 2002? this is to lead to eventual european harmonization! (Down to the lowest standards reportedly)

It will be on the NICEIC website, do a search you'l be sure to find it.
It's now the 16th edition and BS7671.
I know the CD is expensive but they are the only people to sell it as far as I know.

Electrical engineers are too honest to 'obtain' these. Try asking a spanner
A C Eng MIEE
PS should we start the Engineers are undervalued routine
PPS Have you looked on iee.org - guess is it's not there 'cos other wise we'd do ourselves out of a nice little earner
