This is truly wrong, almost criminal.
The guy gets convicted of the offenses, he resigns (asked to leave with a huge payout, does not matter how you word it this is the case) and WE the public end up having to pay for it. Should have been sacked without a payout for his disgusting behaviour. The man is a disgrace, the Commission for Racial Equality is also a discrace for buying him off.
Quote from BBC artical re this Singh person
Norman Brennan, director of the Victims of Crime Trust, said it supported the belief that certain people were "untouchable" when they did wrong.
He said: "Had a police officer committed an identical crime against Mr Singh or anyone else on the CRE, they would have been sacked and lost any pension rights.
"It just goes to show there's one law for certain people and one law for others."
Quite - this sort of thing makes my blood boil. This payoff is a missapropriation of Taxpayers money - someone should go to prison for this!
Yet again the taxpayer gets b*ttf**ked by this government.

I also am a man that would punish myself harder than any court could I will take the 115K that I am being awarded and will then not drive my scooby for a whole week just to punish myself, do you think this is a hard enough penance for me.

It was good to see all the Baronesses & Lords saying how devastated this poor chap is going to be !
And this is the same ******* criminal justice system that locks you up and throws away the key if you defend your property / life from scumbags with *excessive* force - How long before someone being car-jacked runs over the **** doing the jacking and gets sent down ?
Getting pretty close to getting out of this $hit hole of a country before it becomes and offence to be a law abiding citizen !

And another thing - I've seen people getting bigger fines for speeding than he got for assaulting a police officer - Next time I get stopped I think I'll chin the officer and ask him if He knows who I am

Agreed - it's a bloody disgrace - if I assault a Police Officer, I would get 2 weeks in the local nick and whopping fine.
I'd also move out the country, if it wasn't for the fact that we have a little ankle biter and I think it would be a bit unfair in upping sticks and him never seeing his grandparents, or his cousins or Auntie's and Uncles etc

I posted this on another post but COMPLAIN ABOUT IT
WWW.FAXYOURMP.COM
We could sit here all day and moan but nothing will ever get done, go to this website and do something about it. I am also in the same mind as others and will no doubt leave this $h1t40le of a country when I cannot take any more of this.
Viva la France.

and he tried to head-butt one of the officers, the court heard. William Boyce QC, representing Mr Singh, told the court his client was a man of honour and integrity.
Urm, this is a forking disgrace, people in lofty positions always tend to get payoffs rather than the sack though! Probably to stop them blabbing about some other sordid details
