Propylene glycol is quite safe in small amounts isnt it?
The French put it in wine so it must be OK.
Mind you its highly poisonous to cats. So don't leave any lying around your garden.....

If you really want to scare yourself
check out the hormones they put in some meats;
the process involved in making decaffinated coffee;
the carcinogens in sun creams
heavy metals in fish
the organophosphorus derivative pesticides in vegetables
You gotta die of something!
By the way beer causes cancer of the rectum................. mmmmmm beer

In answer to Carpet.
My guess is it would be in case they eat it.
Remember where warnings on Hot McDs apple pies that the contents are hot originated from?
And the same country where the immigration form asks you to declare if you are a terrorist (even before sept 11).
Now I understand that there is court case ongoing in the US against some fast food outlets by fat people who are trying to sue because they didnt know that eating too much junk food makes you fat.
This is following on from the case where some people successfully sued because they didn't know that **** cause cancer.
The only thing that does not seem to come with a health warning of some sort in the US seems to be guns... (mind you I never tried to buy one when I was there).
So as not to offend our US readers further, I am not saying everyone in the US is stupid only that there are many lawyers in the US (obviously not stupid) who are making a lot of money off the back of this assumption.
Cheers
