I know, I've 'borrowed' their format for now.

I wrote something simple in PHP running off a MySQL DB. There are several bugs in the script (hence multiple commas) but it will do for now. It's mostly used just to show what I have (re show off ).

In this version everything is in two tables, one for old stuff and one for recent. The next version is fully relational, separate tables for labels, shops, artists etc.

Nice to see some vinyl lovers.

I just spent a small fortune on a Michell Orbe turntable, new arm and cartridge. (Upgraded from Rega 3.)

I initially thought I had more as there are lots of boxes in the loft, but I now reckon around 3500-4000.
All dance music from 1990-2002.

Worth quite a bit if the www.HTFR.co.uk prices are anything to go by!

Well if you're ever selling any I'm always on the lookout!

Ebay will be the death of me! I have a particular weakness for picture discs, just bought Madonna Ray Of Light on Picture Disc LP, Basement Jaxx - Rooty and Sensation - The Anthem (clear vinyl).

I've got the Viper pic disc (see first pic). I don't think it's as rare as Orkidea - Unity (also on Steel Fish) for around £100.

Andi, yes I was standind on the desk!

What's the Orbe like, Sebastian?

I have a Linn axis/akito but am thinking of going for something better as new cd player sounds better (although, bizarrely, it seems to depend on the age of the cd - old vinyl sounds better than early cds)

Cheers,

Charlie.

Some more:

4 new and 2 I missed out in the first pic.

Basement Jaxx - Rooty LP (unopened and unplayed) (XL 2x12" Pic disc)
Nostrum / Sonicity - All Time Classics pt.2 (Time Unlimited Pic Disc)
Sensation - The Anthem (White Edition) (ID&T Clear Vinyl)
Madonna - Ray Of Light LP (Maverick pic disc and die cut sleeve, unopenened and unplayed)
Nice & Tasty - Thank You (White Label, single sided blue vinyl)
Ouch! - My House (White Label, 10" single sided pink vinyl)

The Madonna one just arrived today from Germany. I don't ever intend to play it, one just for the collection.

Cool

I see you like your Way Out west mate..

Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff (and his dad Micky B) are old mates of mine. In fact I gave Nick his first DJ gig - Wiggle on Monday nights at The Moon Club (now Lakota) in Bristol

Did a couple of tracks togeher before WOW. Those were the days

Theres a few WOW missing from the shots. Remixes of Mindcircus on Black Hole, and two 2x12" Distinctive Breaks promos. I also have Ajare, The Gift etc.

Also a nice little number from 1993 - Echo - Avalanche on Piece Of The Action Recordings. Nick Warren pre WOW (just) as I'm sure you'll know!
