You'd no doubt be a bit of a **** too having to sit politely allowing a short, arrogant, Irish poof to rip the **** out of you!

A friend of mine plays in a big orchestra (no names, but BIG!) and says he (allegedly) throws temper tantrums all the time, and is (allegedly) not pleasant to work with....even walking out cos he's not happy.
Russell says he is not liked because he is not classically trained like the rest of them, but if you listen to him, you can tell his voice is almost coming from his throat/mouth rather than deep down in his chest like, say, Pavarotti.....
I guess it's paranoia in him deep down about people working with him that doubt his ability etc etc.....

The guy in the office with me lives in Irlam / Manchester where Russell comes from. He knows Russell's ex wife.
Basically 6months or so after he 'made it' he phoned up his wife and jilted her - on the phone. Then set one of his minders round to pick up his stuff.
