Nimbus I have to disagree with your logic on this:
Surface area of Human body = quit large

Sorry mate, but if a 2km-wide bit of rock hit the BB house, you'd be vaporised in Woking (well, dead anyway). Not me though, I'll make a point of walking my dog, and the dog never dies.
