Question

Anyone on the bbs with experience of using an agent to register a company for you?
Maybe you could tell me if it is normal for them to at first list themselves as the director etc with companies house?
cheers ian

I think so, they then resign and you take it over along with the 1 share or whatever it is...

That is usual, but you can quite easily set up a brand new limited company online now at Clearlybusiness.com. Set up from scratch with all the details.

OK seems it is usual practice then.
The company was registered last week using my accountant and I thought that I would check the registered details online at the companieshouse site to be sure everything was in order. I was a bit confused to not see my details listed but you guys say it is quite normal for this to be the case to begin with.
cheers ian

yes and you should recieve a copy of the minutes in which the Director resigns the company and passes all the benefits to yourself. You must keep your shares safe all £5 of them LOL. Then spend 3 years playing hide and seek with the tax authorities.
I set mine up through an accountants £150 about 4 years ago
