Now i'm normally a pretty liberal sort of guy,and on the whole dont support capital punishment. But i've just read in the Sunday Mail that he's on suicide watch.........WHY?
If he's never going to be let out, just whats the point????
I just cant see anything positive to be gained by his future existance...

Maybe some-one can explain

Angry

Only that the guy is locked up for the rest of his natural, and I'd personally rather be dead. So...............if it's a case of this evil man being kept alive to suffer, then keep him alive for EVER!!!

it's easy too explain.

Neither you or me or mr shipman or anyone else has the right to decide when someone else dies. That is why, when you murder someone you go to jail.

If you decide to kill him you are doing no worse than what he did.

Thumbs down

Leemac you said

here I was thinking that I was sick!
Do you not think it is probable that with the number of victims this guy had, that someone on this board could be a friend or even a relative of one of his prey?
I hope you never have to suffer the loss of having a relative Murdered!

It's getting to the stage where anyone posting humorous comments almost needs to start with: "this is only a joke but....."
come on guys, where's your sense of humour?
A psychologist once told me that jokes abt sh*tty things exist to give people release, otherwise we'd all bottle it up and go crackers.

It was a joke, why come on the board and be misserable.
I could have started a thread which read My Gran was murdered by shipman which would have been grim, im just livening things up a bit, the victims relatives have it bad enough without us being a sad lot.
Mrs Shipman should be following her husband in jail aswell, surely she was in on it.

One of my mates shared a room at uni (university of Central Lancs) with Shipmans son a couple of years back. He said he met Shipman when he was helping Shipman Jnr move in and out.. Said he seemed like a normal bloke.... Fraky as f\/ck!
