Moving paving stones around

get an old wheel barrow with knackered barrow remove barrow from frame and you then drop the slabs on two at a time in the bottom loops which form the stand this means you can walk the corners of the slab onto the frame and then move to wherever you want.

Easier than what?
We had to drop kerbstones (ridiculously heavy) accurately into a trench to make a ramp. We made big twine (string) loops, and lowered them into place that way, then undid and pulled out the twine. Way better than getting your fingers near them, and didn't involve bending over so far.
