Oakley Sunglasses (again)

youd be lucky to get any discount anywhere, unless you have somesort of 10% loyalty card.
Shops arent allowed to sell them at discount, and they never get stuck with old models because oakley take them off their hands and swap em for new ones, hence now sales etc...
but someone maybe able to correct me

have used and would recommend this site. They don't list Oakleys but email your requirements to them.

I got Oakleys from bargainsunspecs, no problems, the glasses came in a good oakley box, with the bag with the label, the serial number stamped on them.
They were a very good price too.
Still could be a very good copy I guess...

Only way I know to get em cheaper is a) buy them in the US or b) get some store discount from a family member etc (like my bro who works in a surf shop and gets 20% off).

uncle buck,
you said "shame they don't list Oakleys"
did you read my reply? It said email them for requirements not listed on their website. I got Oakleys from them, saved loads of UK street.

It mentions Oakley in the title of the window.
They do stress if what you want is not listed, mail them.
They DO sell Oakleys, I mailed them and got prices back from them within a couple of hours.
Order them and they turned up very quickly. Good company.

Hi,
Not sure what model you are after but I bought a pair of X-Metal XX off the guys below and they did me a deal on a free X-metal Vault case which would normally cost £40.

Give 'em a call and see what they can do.

Buying them in the US is not actually any cheaper, I looked at buying my Juliet X-Metal/Ruby's in the US, and they were c.$420, which at the time worked out to be £287, which was £15 more than in the UK! In the end i actually got them for 30% off at the shop i worked in (heh heh heh), but the cheapest place i've seen is in the Dty free in the airports. Manchester airport has a really good selection.

Beefola - Ive been to the US (florida) 3 times in the last 4 years and bought a pair on 2 occassions along with both of my brothers. I can assure you they were cheaper than the UK.
For example my last pair were C wires in aluminium silver colour with blue tint lenses - on my credit card bill (so exactly what I paid) they cost me £134 with a small ballistic case. Here in the UK Ive seen them for £159-£179 with no case so thats still a saving of around £30 without event taking the case into consideration.
Obviously the exchange rate plays a part in how much you save but they are still cheaper.
Simon.

doh! - Barginspecs finally came back and they were 15 quid cheaper! (though I would have had to wait for them to be ordered)
Too late now though! Oh well...

I suppose I could but it seems a lot of hassle for 15 quid. It's done now
I think they're pretty darn cool - a bit OTT for some circumctances but hey, I've more sensible Oakley's too

P1Fanatic - i was in Florida also when i saw the ones mentioned. I was talking about X-Metals, which i can assure you were priced as stated. Indeed there were a few C-Wires and Jackets that were cheaper, but i went just after Sep 11th, and the exchange rate was bobbins.
