ok , as usual out of warranty just, got a top of the range Hitachi video and it is playing up recording, will play fine and to be honest not really recorded that much on it since new, anyway

when recording it just hangs/freezes all locks up and only way to clear it is to power off at mains, can records for 30mins or 90 mins but still does it ,

any ideas, thanks

ps if its knackered, and ideas where to get a chap one with 2 scart ports, don't need fancy features just need to hook in dvd & sat receiver
