Have a beautiful Opinel No.8 from rugby tour 30 years ago. No it won’t go out the house because it would be illegal.Only rule we were given just don’t buy a flick knife because of someone cut their leg. This was a fee paying school btw

However how come all the civilised French carry one to cut their baguettes, cheese then sip wine. Then we have all the first class London and Manchester (why those two cities?) decide it’s for more than that. Why do we all get penalised for the minority do? Love my Opinel but certainly not going to stab someone with it

here are a couple examples of what my father in law makes. I have a rather large Bowie knife he made me with personalised leather sheath, with deer antler handle. Cuts through rib of beef a like butter
